ConvenientCare Equine Thermal Imaging Service
Patients are our priority when it comes to our Equine Thermal Imaging Service. It is important to us that our service is convenient for you. Our local, certified veterinary equine thermographer will come right to your location so you don’t have to travel. This will also minimize stress on your horse. We will schedule a mutually agreed upon time. Depending on the images being taken, imaging usually lasts about 30 minutes. Once we are at you location, we’ll just ask that you have a handler available to move the horse as we request so that we can take the appropriate images.
IRT is not harmful to your horse, there is no radiation emitted. We don’t even need to touch your horse to take images. The IRT Camera just picks up the heat radiating from your horse’s body and maps it for us. There is no need to sedate your horse or to even be nervous about the process. Imaging is accurate, fast, convenient and affordable for horse owners.
