Meet Tia DeBon, Certified Veterinary Equine Thermal Technologist and owner of Equine Thermal Care. With a love and passion for horses and keeping them healthy, Tia offers affordable and accurate solutions for horse owners to do just that. Horse owners know all to well the health problems and injuries sustained by horses and how many of them remain undiagnosed. Tia focuses on finding answers to these mysteries with a quick way to determine the reasons behind them, a veterinary approved Thermal Imaging Camera to “See Where A Horse Hurts.”
Tia studied with world renowned experts and international thought leaders in equine thermography; DVM thermography experts Dr. Tracy Turner, Dr. Kimberly Henneman and Dr. Ken Marcella. As Tia continued her work with her clients she found many underlying issues were related to horses hooves and the fit of their saddles, causing lameness issues, back problems, attitude problems and pain. Tia then took it upon herself to continue her education regarding healthy hooves, hoof care and hoof rehabilitation, along with proper saddle fit and saddle ergonomics for both horse and rider.
Tia continues her work with her clients and their horses, working out of her Northern New Jersey office and travels to her clients barns to assess their horses in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
